Creating a lively, brand-focused new workplace for one of Australia's leading food brands.
SunRice
When SunRice set its sights on becoming Australia's leading rice brand, it needed a workplace to match that ambition. Engaged to design and construct its new Sydney home, we created an environment that doesn't just house a team, it tells the SunRice story.
From the vibrant front-of-house, featuring the colours of its recent rebrand, to five themed meeting rooms celebrating the cultures and markets behind SunRice-owned brands Toscano, Sunwhite, SavourLife, Trukai and Prydes, every detail immerses visitors in the world of SunRice. Each room was developed collaboratively with the client, ensuring every creative choice felt genuinely true to who they are.
Our design and construction team were engaged early, helping to test-fit locations before settling on a floorplate that maximised the spectacular views. This head start set the tone for close collaboration throughout the project. Having extensive experience at 60 Martin Place, we had a solid understanding of the constraints of the building and an established relationship with Investa.
With a seven-week delivery programme, early involvement was critical. The construction team understood the design intent from day one, allowing on-site decisions to be made quickly. Weekly PCG meetings also kept the client at the centre of decision-making.
Throughout construction, our team was able to quickly resolve design issues, rethink building methodology, and find solutions alongside the in-house design team. This flexible and adaptable approach allowed for design and construction to continue concurrently and meant that the programme could be accelerated.
Bringing together our in-house design and construction teams with trusted partner DBS Consulting, we delivered a workplace that supports SunRice’s growing team and places its brand at the centre.
