Setting in a new benchmark in building refurbishment
Through delivering the holistic repositioning of assets across a number of projects, we have set a new benchmark in the building refurbishment space. Whether that’s completely transforming a lobby and bringing a new energy to a building, through to elevating the overall experience – for both tenants and visitors alike – with flexible spaces, amenities, and high-end finishes.
Often located within bustling precincts, and given the live environment of these projects, we’ve developed several strategies to design programmes so the spaces can continue to be used by all for the duration of these projects. This includes housekeeping, extensive stakeholder communications, bespoke hoarding solutions to enable works to be completed safely without any disruption, and staged out-of-hours works.
However, to truly minimise disruption and ensure the safety of visitors, tenants, building management and contractors, this comes down to communication and collaboration. With great relationships with partners across the industry, including a good spread of asset management teams, it means our team can successfully coordinate works seamlessly.
“The upgrade to Habitat House set a new standard for buildings in Surry Hills and I’m glad we chose to partner with MPA to bring it to life. We received the right level of senior engagement and always felt MPA’s goal was to exceed our expectations whilst providing commercial solutions that aligned with our priorities,” said David Briscoe, Director April Group.
Through a collaborative approach with the wider consultant teams on these projects, we can achieve and exceed both the delivery of high-end quality finishes and the successful completion of works within a tight program.
