Our commitment to the Property Industry Foundation in 2024 and beyond
In 2024, the MPA team proudly supported the Property Industry Foundation through a range of initiatives, from sponsorships and fundraising events to hands-on volunteering. As a National Gold Donor, our commitment to addressing youth homelessness is woven into our organisational culture.
This year we continued our fundraising efforts; we were the principal sponsor for Tour de PIF in New South Wales and a supporting sponsor in Victoria, collectively raising over $37, 000 of vital funds for the Foundation’s projects. On top of this, our Sydney Hard Hat Day, co-hosted with Ashurst and Architectus, brought together property and construction professionals, raising over $8,000 in a single morning. Partnering with Two Good Co. to assist with these events, we not only supported the Foundation, but also empowered women rebuilding their lives after domestic violence, furthering our social impact.
However, based on feedback from our team, our most rewarding contribution was through getting our hands dirty at working bees. In Melbourne, our team helped refurbish Haven House Coburg with the Lighthouse Foundation, and in Sydney, we transformed the gardens at Haven House Dulwich Hill, supporting Indigenous youth through Stepping Stone House. Volunteering allowed our team to provide more than financial aid—our skills and expertise made a tangible difference in creating safe spaces for young Australians. This experience gave our team the opportunity to connect with and truly understand the purpose behind our work. By directly witnessing the impact of their contributions, we can foster a culture of empathy and responsibility within our team.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to continue this meaningful partnership and in 2025, we aim to strengthen our community impact. We believe that by uniting our industry expertise with the Foundation’s mission, we can make a real, positive impact on youth homelessness, building a stronger, more supportive future for all.
