MPA actively supports PIF and young Aussies without a home

There are over 46,000 young people experiencing homelessness without support. We each have the power to do something about this.

MPA is extremely proud to come together alongside our industry partners and support the Property Industry Foundation (PIF) in our common goal to build safe, secure and welcoming homes for marginalised and at-risk young people.

We are pleased to share that one of our own Emerging Leaders, Jake Padwick, has been appointed as a member of the NSW Future Leaders with PIF. Jake will join Sarah Hogan GAICD in actively supporting PIF.

“As one of MPA’s Mental Health First Aid Officers, the role with PIF aligns well with my passion to promote the importance of mental health and his belief that every person deserves a chance in life, regardless of their stature in society. I am eager to further my knowledge and interest in promoting not only a safe and sustainable workplace but also safe and sustainable housing for young people,” Jake says.

One of the first initiatives Jake will work on, is joining Sarah in championing the 2024 Tour de PIF for Homeless Youth to raise much-needed funds and awareness for PIF. This is MPA's first year as the proud Run Partner for the fitness challenge.

This is a great chance to come together with industry peers and cycle, run or walk to fundraise and help provide a safe home for young Aussies.
