Healthcare Organisation

We delivered a new Sydney workplace for a Healthcare Organisation based in Barangaroo. Designed by Gensler, the space is shaped around wellbeing, connection and how people come together at work. 

We were engaged early to provide buildability advice as the design developed, helping the team resolve key construction decisions within a tight program. That early involvement gave us a clear view of the detail and sequencing needed to deliver the design on site. 

The workplace includes a library, Community Centre, Wellness Room, collaborative areas, meeting rooms and focus spaces. Across the floor, Gensler introduced a wide mix of finishes and bespoke details, including extensive custom joinery, bamboo partition systems, hospitality-inspired detailing and micro-perforated acoustic wall panelling. 

 One of the main delivery challenges was fitting the required services within the constraints of the existing infrastructure while protecting Gensler’s design intent. We worked closely with Gensler and the services engineer to resolve these interfaces and keep the workplace functional without losing the detail of the design. 

The level of finish created another layer of complexity. With a large number of bespoke elements and different material treatments across the workplace, careful sequencing became critical. Some works had to be delivered out of the usual order to keep the program moving, so we coordinated closely with the wider project team and kept the client involved throughout. 

 The finished workplace reflects that attention to detail. The library creates a quieter space for exploration and reflection, while the Community Centre and collaborative areas support connection and gathering. Bamboo partitions, acoustic treatments and a varied material palette add warmth and texture throughout. The design is targeting 6 Star Green Star and Platinum WELL. 

We delivered the project on time, working alongside Turner & Townsend, Gensler, Arup and Jensen Hughes to bring a highly detailed workplace to life within a tight delivery timeframe.
