Global technology consultancy, Thoughtworks, selected us to transform the top floor of 360 Collins Street into a premium, purposefully designed workplace that embodies their unique culture and innovative approach to technology – creating an environment that reflects Thoughtworks' commitment to sustainability, accessibility, and technology for good.
This is a workplace that balances functionality and creativity. A one-of-a-kind client coffee lounge experience with bespoke joinery, complemented by premium breakout spaces, top-of-the-line kitchen facilities, and high-end finishes that embody Thoughtworks’ premium brand. Executive boardrooms feature bold design elements and cozy colour schemes designed to inspire. The workspace incorporates flexible, consciously designed working areas supporting their modern ways of working, emphasising inclusiveness, teamwork, and collaboration, all set against some of Melbourne’s most iconic city views.
Our team brought this vision to life through a highly collaborative and disciplined delivery approach. Early engagement allowed for cost planning without compromising quality or design intent. Construction complexity was met with technical precision. Electrical, hydraulic and mechanical services were rerouted below exposed ceilings and core walls to meet building requirements without disrupting tenants below. Structural and acoustic challenges were overcome by coordinating closely with building management and carefully sequencing works to minimise disruption.
Delivered to an exceptional standard, this project showcases the strength of a strategic partnership between experienced leaders, project managers, skilled builders & trades, innovative designers, a dedicated client team, and a strong vision.
