Wotton Kearney

Engaged early, law firm Wotton Kearney chose us to deliver their new workspace, having had positive experiences previously with the MPA Team. Our delivery team who handed over the project last year remembers the process fondly - the client was extremely pleased with the result and a strong relationship was formed along the way.  

Upon entering Wotton Kearney’s new space, the open plan front of the house immediately captures attention. This inviting area features a welcoming reception, a kitchen, booth seating, a barista bar, and banquet seating, creating a warm and functional environment. To ensure the design met client expectations, we developed a prototype of the feature batten ceiling before installation, and the result proved to be well worth the effort.

The barista bar, designed and installed by us, features a three-head beer tap, coffee machine, glass washer and ice maker. Early involvement allowed us to resolve design elements upfront, ensuring the feature met both the brief and budget. Beyond the barista bar, the adaptable boardroom stands out as a key feature, with operable walls that effortlessly transform the room into a spacious town hall. This dynamic space thoughtfully balances comfort and functionality, catering to diverse needs.

Advanced technology further elevates the user experience. Integrated systems, including universal access cards and a seamless desk-booking platform, create an intuitive and efficient environment. From individual lockers to printers, every element works in harmony to make hot desking effortless.

Sustainability was a guiding principle throughout the project, with materials reused from previous MPA projects to minimise environmental impact. Chairs were reupholstered, tables refinished, and two joinery units refurbished from Wotton Kearney’s previous workplace, reducing our embodied carbon and aligning with our waste diversion and environmental targets.
