Following the completion of Holding Redlich’s Sydney and Melbourne offices, this Brisbane project marks the culmination of the long-standing relationship we have built on trust, collaboration, and a shared vision for the future of their workplaces.

Holding Redlich Brisbane

The vision for the Holding Redlich Brisbane workplace was to create a space that not only supports physical and cultural transformation but also fosters a strong sense of place. This is a workplace that is cohesive, community-driven, and inviting, representing the values of Holding Redlich while reflecting Queensland’s vibrant identity.

A key design narrative was inspired by the traditional Queenslander home, reimagined through a modern lens. This is seen in the use of local materials, layered lighting, and communal gathering spaces that encourage connection and collaboration. The standout feature is the revitalised outdoor terraceenvisioned as a welcoming communal deck, a place where Brisbane’s warm climate and relaxed culture come together. With extensive greenery, architectural pots, statement lighting, and a built-in BBQ, the terrace has become a cornerstone for team gatherings and social connections.

Strong collaboration with designers, Woods Bagot, consultants, and the client team was essential to problem-solving and driving buildability solutions. Early identification of challenges allowed for the design vision to be achieved without compromising functionality, as well as implementing complex ceiling services and proactively leading solutions.

Sustainability was a core consideration throughout the project. Significant reuse of existing furniture, including breakout and boardroom chairs, meeting tables, workstations, storage units, and coffee tables, minimising waste and reducing the environmental footprint.

This project is a testament to strong partnerships and shared visionMPA’s longstanding relationship with Holding Redlich enabled open communication and seamless collaboration, ensuring every challenge was met with a solution-focused approach.
