Creating spaces where people can connect and collaborate is at the heart of what we do. We were proud to partner with Investa and Property and Development NSW (PDNSW) to deliver a modern and sustainable space for the NSW Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), supporting them in providing essential legal services for the people of NSW.

NSW Office of The Director of Public Prosecutions

Leading the way as the building’s inaugural tenant, the ODPP recently moved into their new home into PDNSW’S newest workplace hub at Parkline Place, situated above the also recently constructed Gadigal Station in Sydney’s CBD. This 39-storey energy-efficient building embraces a new era of transformative and flexible workplaces and claims an unmatched connection to Sydney City.

Engaged by Investa and PDNSW to deliver this diverse workspace, with 25 different types of workstations, this space has been built to service a mix of Crown Prosecutors, Solicitor Advocates, Solicitors and support staff, spanning four levels and 9,388 sqm. This space is built considering the ODPP team and how best to support them to deliver essential legal services for the people of NSW

Our early engagement in this project, allowed us to work collaboratively with Investa to ensure the build was delivered to the highest quality and efficiency. The fitout provides secure and dedicated workspaces, with 350 private offices, and partitions extending over 4km in total, underscoring the scale and complexity of the project. Another unique feature was the mock trial room, which included extensive AV and virtual conferencing functionality, allowing collaborative work to take place seamlessly in the virtual space.

This project marks a series of milestones for MPA, including our first collaboration with PDNSW, building a strong partnership throughout the process. It also set a benchmark as our first project to track live ESG metrics as part of our commitment to stakeholder management.

Our team rose above and beyond any obstacle that came their way on this project, leaving both PDNSW and Investa satisfied with not only the outcome but the entire journey we had over the year we worked together.

Michael Goddard, Director of Finance and Facilities at the ODPP expressed his enthusiasm about the new space, “Since moving into the new space, staff satisfaction and engagement have been overwhelmingly positive. The fitout is finished to an exceptional standard, creating a modern and functional workspace that meets the needs of our team. The result is a workplace that empowers our people to work flexibly and collaboratively while upholding the professionalism and security essential to our operations.”

Through the facilitation and moderation of trade and design coordination workshops, along with the prototyping of various fit-out features, this project stands as a testament to MPA’s communication, collaboration, and commitment to creating a modern and sustainable workplace.
