Delivering a connected, collaborative workplace at Parkline Place

Parkline Workplace Hub

The NSW Government’s vision for flexible, modern workplaces continues to take shape at Parkline Place, with MPA completing the latest stage of the Workplace Hub for Property and Development NSW.

Following the successful fitout of the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in January, the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure and the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water have now moved into their new three-level home in Sydney’s CBD.

This next chapter continues to bring Government teams together in a centralised, collaborative, workspace, designed with ambitious sustainability goals, including a 6 Star Green Star rating and WELL Certification V2 Platinum.

The workplace blends functionality with refined architectural detailing. Colourful, open-plan zones encourage collaboration, while a double staircase crafted from curved laminated glass adds a sculptural element to the central core. Spaces are designed to adapt, with operable walls allowing for everything from small meetings to full-scale Town Hall gatherings.

Wellbeing and accessibility were key considerations throughout the design. The workplace features infrared hearing systems, accessible kitchens, and multipurpose zones that adapt to a range of needs. Landscaped terraces on levels 10 and 11 offer space to reset and recharge, while the Marketplace event zone delivers a dynamic platform for activations and informal gatherings. Every detail supports connection, inclusion, and performance.
Finishes and materials were selected to meet Green Star targets, supporting the NSW Government’s sustainability goals.

With tea points and breakout spaces on every level, 16 integrated phone booths and extensive amenity throughout, the space is designed to enhance the daily experience of its occupants. Tenants moved in during the final week of works, ensuring a smooth and well-supported transition.

This latest delivery reflects the evolving role of workplaces in accordance with the NSW Government Workplace Design Standards and provide a variety of modern, sustainable spaces where people can work effectively, focus, collaborate and connect.
